A seminar was held for parents raising children with developmental disabilities and special needs

September 24 in the sanatorium "Teremok" together with the IKBFU. I. Kant hosted a seminar for parents raising children with developmental disabilities and special needs. The seminar is held within the framework of the project "Destroying barriers in the rehabilitation of children: from correction to inclusive education." Cross-border cooperation programs Russia-Lithuania 2014-2020.

As part of the seminar, lectures and master classes for parents on various topics of needs are held. For young participants, trainings, procedures and master classes are also held.

The lecturers are employees of the sanatorium "Teremok", IKBFU, as well as invited experts.

All participants of the seminar received a booklet "Recommendations for families raising children with neurosensory-motor disorders", which was prepared by the project partners. This publication is intended for parents, students of medical schools, doctors of various specialties, health care organizers. The booklet is available in pdf format here.
