In 2021, at the expense of funds allocated within the framework of the project, equipment was purchased and a unique method of neurosensory brain stimulation Tomatis was introduced - this is a tandem of bone and air conduction.
The patient listens to music through special wireless headphones. The duration of one lesson and their number is determined individually, depending on the indications and age of the child, from 40 minutes to 2 hours, the number of lessons from 10 to 14. For each child, the Tomatis specialist forms an individual program, adjusting it as the results are obtained. While listening to music, the child performs various exercises, tasks proposed by a specialist, aimed at activating cognitive processes, to maintain interest and to avoid overwork, tasks alternate (modeling, drawing, design). The Tomatis method uses only specially processed Mozart's orchestral melodies, Gregorian chants, marches and waltz.
This method is suitable for both healthy children and children with developmental disabilities: delayed speech, psycho-speech development, ADHD, autistic syndromes, cerebral palsy.
