A training seminar for parents raising children with neurosensory-motor disorders will be held

The Federal State Budgetary Institution Children's Psychoneurological Sanatorium "Teremok" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, together with the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, the Lithuanian Maritime Museum and Klaipeda University, is implementing the international project "BREAKING BARRIERS IN THE REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN: FROM CORRECTION TO INCLUSIVE EDUCATION" Cross-border cooperation programs Russia- Lithuania 2014-2020, which is aimed at early detection of developmental disorders, timely correction, reduction of social isolation of families raising children with neurosensory motor disorders, and ensuring the availability and quality of medical, social and educational services. The project operates in the border areas of the Republic of Lithuania (Klaipeda region) and the Russian Federation (Kaliningrad region).
The project organizes a training seminar for parents raising children with neurosensory-motor disorders. The seminar is devoted to practical issues related to behavior in the family, innovative solutions to the problem of integrating children with disabilities into society. This measure will reduce the social exclusion of families in which children with disabilities are brought up. The program of the seminar was developed for parents, members of families raising children with disabilities, as well as for professionals using the best practices of partners.
The seminar will be held on September 24, 2021 at the children's sanatorium "Teremok" (Zelenogradsk, Oktyabrskaya St., 13) from 10.00 to 17.00. Master classes, trainings and lectures will be organized for parents and children. After the workshop, participants will evaluate it by filling out feedback forms. The answers will be analyzed by the organizers of the seminar. The format of the holding is hybrid (online/offline). The connection will be made on the ZOOM platform. The program is attached.
