The format of the Almanac "Historical and cultural heritage of the Curonian Lagoon" has been approved within the framework of the international project "Cross Heritage"
Within the framework of the international project “Сommon Heritage of Curonian lagoon: from Extraordinary to Familiar - CROSS-HERITAGE”, the partner and curator of the Russian partners of which is the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (IKBFU), approved the volume and format of the Almanac "Historical and cultural heritage of the Curonian Lagoon" of the historical and cultural heritage of the Curonian Lagoon region.
The Almanac of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Curonian Lagoon region will collect information on the traditions, historical, cultural and natural objects of the Russian and Lithuanian territory around the bay, as well as on unique historical facts: the use of special identification of fishing boats of the inhabitants of the Curonian Lagoon region.
The almanac will be issued in two formats: Russian-English and Lithuanian-English versions. It will contain illustrations, links and QR codes for a more in-depth study of interesting facts, information about which cannot be fully contained in one printed publication.
The main partner of the project is the Kintai Arts Association (Lithuania). The partners are Klaipeda University (Lithuania), Shilut District Administration (Lithuania), IKBFU. I. Kant (Russia), National Park "Curonian Spit" (Russia), Museum of the World Ocean (Russia).
