The almanac "Heritage of Curonian Lagoon: from Extraordinary to Familiar" was published

The almanac is a collection of independent popular science articles united by a common idea – to
acquaint readers with the unique region of the Curonian Lagoon. The publication includes articles
on the historical and cultural heritage, tourism and recreational facilities, as well as information on protected areas and main attractions. There are details showing originality, historical and modern features of the region’s development as part of two states united by a common historical and cultural heritage.
The almanac will introduce you to the Curonian Lagoon as the heart of the region, tell the history of the Curonian Spit as a unique cultural landscape, remind you of stories about colorful weathervanes and help you navigate and get acquainted with the unusual places of the cross-border
region, Lithuanian and Russian settlements located on the shores of the lagoon. Now take a journey through this amazing region with this almanac.
