Final conference - working meeting

The final event of the Baltic Odyssey project took place in the Viking village Kaup on May 23, 2022. This event can be qualified as the final conference and working meeting of the project steering committee by the Russian partners.
Since after March 4, 2022, communication with partners from Poland, as well as with the program secretariat, ceased and funding for Russian partners was suspended, it was not advisable to hold a full-fledged conference.
However, it was decided to hold a final conference - a working meeting at Kaup, where the results of the project were summed up, the partners presented their results, shared the results with representatives of the target groups. The event was attended by 30 people (10 from the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, 3 representatives from the Main Partner - the Administration of the municipality "Zelenogradsk urban district", 3 representatives from the non-profit organization "Kaup", 2 representatives from the Kaliningrad Regional Museum of History and Art, 12 representatives target groups (reenactors, artisans and representatives of regional authorities of the Kaliningrad region.
As part of the final conference, the results of the infrastructure part of the project were also demonstrated - two drakars (boats of the Viking Age) and two shipyards-pavilions for boats on the shore of the lake, located within the boundaries of the Kaup open-air museum.
In the first week of the exhibitions there were 400 visitors.
