Student Dormitory Complex
You are eligible to live in a dormitory if:

  • you are a full-time student
  • you have been recognised as being in need of dormitory accommodation by the university housing committee (in accordance with the terms of the Dormitory Regulations

The IKBFU Student Dormitory Complex comprises 15 dormitories of various types (corridor, block, and apartment).

Dormitory accommodation is available to students who are enrolled on a full-time basis and do not have a registered place of residence in Kaliningrad or within 20 km of the city. First-year students are allocated dormitory places based on the number of available spaces in each dormitory and a ranking system (calculated on the basis of the Unified State Exam (USE) score with which the applicant was admitted to the university).

Documents Required
for a Tenancy Agreement
When being allocated accommodation in accordance with the ranking lists, all students are required to obtain medical clearance, which is valid for 7 days from the date of accommodation allocation.

  • For citizens of the Russian Federation
    • passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation (if the student is a minor — also a consent to conclude a tenancy agreement and a copy of the passport from their legal representative)
    • copy of passport (pages 2–3 and the page with registered place of residence)
    • medical clearance obtained at the university
    • a passport-sized photograph (3 × 4 cm) for the dormitory registration card
  • For foreign nationals
    • foreign national passport (if the student is a minor — also a consent to conclude a tenancy agreement and a copy of the passport from their legal representative)
    • referral from the IKBFU Visa and Migration Support Division
    • medical clearance obtained at the university
    • passport-sized photograph (3 × 4 cm) for the dormitory registration card
