  • A Tip from International Students
    Keep a close eye on the expiry dates of your documents, always stay in touch with the International Office, and remember there are places you must not travel to without permission!

This is important to know!

The Kaliningrad region is beautiful, and we encourage you to explore it — however, always bear in mind that there are zones where entry for foreign nationals is either prohibited or permitted only with a special pass. Violations of entry rules may result in a warning, a fine, or in serious cases — deportation.

Find out more from the FSB Directorate for the Kaliningrad Region or contact the International Students’ Support Division for clarification.

Medical Insurance
Insurance is required for the entire period of study in Russia.

The insurance policy must cover:

  • Outpatient clinic services, including specialist medical care;
  • Inpatient services (emergency hospitalisation);
  • Repatriation.
